IVitamin is seeking a full time IV Specialist at our South Congress location to promote the health and wellness of patients through a combination of nursing and/or medical processes as well as consultative practices. The position coordinates the administration of prescribed therapies according to prescriber standing order, and in accord with the medical personnel’s scope of practice, the facility’s policies, procedures, and protocols.

Our Infusion Hydration Lounges are boutique medical facilities located in downtown Austin and North Austin, designed for the health-conscious and wellness-driven. We offer a range of IV vitamin hydration therapies and regenerative IVs both in our lounges and through mobile services to clients’ homes or offices. Our clients come to us looking to boost their energy, improve their health, and achieve balance through IV hydration therapy.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
● Prepare intravenous solutions per company protocol, insert intravenous catheters per standards of practice and company protocol.
● Evaluate and monitor the patient's medical needs before, during, and after the IV therapy.
● Abides by company policies and procedures as well as INS standards of practice, OSHA guidelines.
● Administer ordered therapies according to standing prescriber order, facility protocols, INS standards and company policy and procedures.
● Ability to multitask, work role autonomy and independence, patient care and relationships, teamwork, patient teaching, innovative thinking while providing excellent customer service.
● Present the membership options to all patients and recommend supplements to complement our drip services. ● Recommend at home supplements and additional therapies that may help them meet their goals.
● Work with Lead IVS to assist with weekly and quarterly inventory counts of medical supplies and nutrient injectables.
● This will be a position where you will be based out of our South Congress Clinic. You will be asked to take mobile calls on Tuesday and Wednesday if the clinic is slow.

Required Education/Experience:
● Current license as a registered nurse in good standing with the Texas BON.
● Previous sales experience preferred.
● Remain current and achieve required continuing education units.
● Minimum of 2 years of IV administration experience preferably in a high volume setting
● Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Will be required to maintain a current CPR certification during employment.
Work Environment
This job operates in a health care setting. This role requires regular walking and standing throughout the facility. This role routinely interacts with patients on a daily basis. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping. The employee must frequently move or lift items weighing over 40 pounds. Must be able to administer CPR.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full time position in a health care environment. Shifts will be scheduled during hours of operation, allowing for some fluctuation for pre-opening and post-closing functions.
● Thursday: 9:30-4:30 (7 hours)
● Friday: 9:30-4:30 (7 hours)
● Saturday: 9:30-6:30 (9 hours)
● Sunday: 9:30-6:30 (9 hours)
● Monday: 9:30-4:30 (7 hours)
